Ted Scharf, Broker/Owner, Royal LePage Scharf Realty

Ted is a local hockey legend who began his career playing for the hometown Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League.  After being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers, Ted continued his hockey career playing in the WHL for Indianapolis, New Jersey, San Diego, and the Edmonton Oilers. When his hockey days finished he began a career in real estate. As with hockey, his talents, leadership, and work ethic quickly pushed him to the top of the real estate game.

He is a five-time president of the Kitchener Rangers and held that role for two OHL championships and the Memorial Cup championship in 2003. His commitment to minor hockey is only equaled by his commitment to our community. Ted is involved with numerous charities including Meals on Wheels, Kitchener Minor Sports, K-W Access-Ability, and the Independent Living Centre. His volunteering and philanthropy have made a world of difference for people in need including seniors, youth, and people with disabilities.
